In order to strengthen its position within urology in Stockholm, GHP is starting a urology clinic at Läkarhuset Odenplan in Stockholm. The clinic will be led by Magnus Annerstedt, who is very
much involved in the field of urology both nationally and internationally and who has state of the art competence in prostate cancer care and robotic surgery. GHP already has Urologcentrum in Liljeholmen in the south of Stockholm. The new clinic at Odenplan will supplement this with a catchment area comprising the center and north of Stockholm.
GHP Urologcentrum Odenplan starts on 1 February 2018 and its work will include investigating, treating and following up patients with prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia and urinary
problems. Urology has been a growing area for private health care in Stockholm after introduction of the free choice of health care "Vårdval" in the area in spring 2017.
"We look forward to building up the business together with GHP. Urology patient care can be developed a great deal in Stockholm and the collaboration with GHP gives us greater opportunities to
contribute to this," says Magnus Annerstedt, CEO of the clinic.
"We are proud of having the opportunity to work together with Magnus and his team. Magnus combines a high degree of clinical competence with solid experience of leading and developing
businesses. This will form a sound foundation for successful collaboration with GHP," says Max van Eijk, GHP's Business Area Manager in Stockholm.
GHP Urologcentrum Odenplan is expected to have a positive but not significant impact on GHP's results for 2018.
