GHP Spine Center Göteborg continues to develop positively, with increased demand and world-class quality results. Furthermore, we have strong demand from the County Councils and new collaboration with insurance companies. This has given rise to a need to increase capacity.

By actively working on shortening the time spent in care, the increase in surgical capacity can be achieved without needing to expand the space-consuming care ward. Capacity can thus be increased while maintaining good cost effectiveness. The fact that GHP Spine Center Göteborg is increasing its surgical capacity from two to three operating theatres, enables continued stable growth at the same time as we grow into the new premises.

"We prioritise this kind of growth, where we gradually grow in a successful business. It is a cost-effective and profitable way of growing," says Daniel Öhman, CEO of GHP.

The increase in the number of operating theatres is being carried out without any major investments by GHP and is expected to have a positive but not significant impact on GHP's results for 2018. The actual rebuilding work will take place during the summer of 2018 so as to minimize disruption of the business.
